I have fixed the CD emulation problem and can now run the game without the no-cd .
I uninstalled all cd / DVD burning software .
Nero 6 ultra / easy vcd and clone cd & DVD .
I will later install them one at a time and see when it breaks.

I have the same problem. I unistall alcohol and cdr win and the problem don't desappear

DUDE's! it's easier than that. go into exploror and right click on an emulated drive. then go propterties and disable the drive. no need to uninstal software

r u saying that it wont run if nero is installed,or just if the nero virtual drive is installed

I fixed it more easily by downloading a nocd fix.
Didn't have to uninstall programs I actually use either.
It's really not acceptable to have to alter the other software you have in order to play a game. Don't give in to lame publisher demands. Write them a letter or email explaining you are disappointed with their poor choices.
