S! Everyone,

One Year ago we witnessed an American tragedy. 7 astronauts were on their way home to be with their loved ones after a long rigorous mission. 15 minuts from touchdown we saw on television the demise of Space Shuttle Columbia.

These heroes gave their lives and gave the ultimate sacrifice to further human knowledge of the heavens and beyond. I was preparing for a trip to Las Vegas and the day before April 2nd 2003 the Shuttle was due to come home. I was, as many of you were, upset and saddened by the loss and its crew.

Columbia will always be remembered. They will be remembered for the contribution to furthering human spaceflight and the human drive for knowledge. Let us remember them this day and remember how they lived. Salute STS-107

This is my personal tribute to the Brave astronauts that lost their lives that day.

HAIL COLUMBIA!!!
