Ubi should check these things before adding penalties:

It is a drop if:
-Player is a Spy and has been killed/knocked out in the last 30 seconds or so.
-Player is a Merc and has been killed/knocked out in the last 30 seconds or so.
-Player is a Merc and a ND133 has been/is being neutralized in the last 30 seconds or so.
-Player's partner has died in the last 30 seconds or so.
-Player is out of respawns.
-Player is a Spy and the timer is under 1:30.

Any I forgot?

Thats a good idea... Make it like a 1 minute after killed

and also player is a merc, partner is dead
player is spy partner is dead

somethign like that.. thats a really good idea to sort out penalties

Well the other day I got screwed -200 points for what the game thought dropping. NOPE im not one of these annoying ppl that drop. 4th person did not make it into the game fully u know how they have the name spy/merc next to theyre name on the players list so I went back to lobby and mysteriously it was still RANK !!! WTF...also I was not sure if I ranked the game back up after a dropper so as soon as the game started I went back to lobby and to my dismay THERE YA HAVE IT....2 reasons i got screwed and neither were really my fault if u think about it!! Would the game had been FREE if there were no dropper to change it?! So i would have never had to go check and change it all i can say is i feel ripped off as a serious ranked player im back to a noobish lv4 when the other day i was borderline 6 so thats just STUPID!

I know my response is different from what you were saying but switching the map and then putting it back usually helps.

From the show Father Ted
Mrs. Doyle: Would ya like some tea
Delivery Guy: Oh, no thanks, there's a 70% chance it'd kill me
Mrs. Doyle: I'll make some anyway

Actually thats a stupid suggestion. The other day I was hosting a game and it was pretty near the end, and when I lost my last life (I was spy btw) the game froze and my TV started buzzing.. so after waiting a couple minutes in the hopes that it would fix, I had to restart my XBox. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
