Hey all, I'm running TPOTS installed from the cd and decided to play in the A'gura. I open the blue/gold book expecting Bevin, but instead I have my old A'gura back.
The cd install required me to reinstall URU, although I had my URU Live file still on the harddrive. It should have installed To D'ni, and I believe it did as I have three books in the D'ni section. URU seems to be in the completed state, as I can open the round port doors with the hand signs, but my bridges are up and I had to re-acquire the goodies for my relto.
Have I forgotten something? Was there something I had to do to get that Bevin book? I thought it appeared at the beginnng of To D'ni.
If I have to reinstall, let me know how you did it please.

There are several steps, but I can't necessarily remember the right order, or all of the steps.
Register your KI in Gahreesen.
Go to Bevin. Put your hand in the KI slot by the nexus book.
Find the balcony page in the alcove in Gahreesen.
I think the KI registration in Bevin is how you get the page.
The Big Brown Book is Ae'gura.

I'll try that Mr Zebe D. I can't go to Bevin now, as I don't have the page, but maybe it appears after I reactivate my KI. Can't remember either lol. I have several iterations of URU on my harddrive including a hacked one which I tried to hide from the installer by changing the name and only leaving the Live folder intact, but I think it's still confused the install.
Oh well, as long as I can still get into the A'Gura I'll be happy.

You can try getting to Bevin from the Nexus.

I tried that but my nexus only has the ferry terminal listed and I can't jump the barriers to the Great Stairs. Darn. Let me try to reactivate my KI and see where I get.

That sounds like the whole of To D'ni is undone. What do you have as Sharper's first 2004 journal entry?

I think you're right. I reactivated the KI and went to the nexus and relto, but no changes. Let me check Sharper's journal.

I've got 12/3/04 (should be 03, of course) re Patriot's game
Last one is 7/8/2004, the BBGGO code.

At least that tells you the date of the game file. Do you have a later sav file for that part of the game?

Ah, yes I do. I have another file with D'ni flymode. Do I just switch out the save file numbers? I'm wondering if it will affect TPOTS, not that I've gotten very far.

Ok, here's the answer. Yes, it does bring back the finished D'ni, TPOTS is still installed but I'll have to redo it. Think I'll put the new TPOTS file back, finish it, then fix it. Thanks for your help.
