I have sent carts and built a new settelment at the top left of the map what do I need to do to complete the mission?

Well i got a question either about roman mission 2 and becouse that walkthrough did had a link to the maya's mission 2 walkthrough, i couldnt find it. I have been playing for 8 hours non stop (savegames wont work by me) and i toke the whole map under my territory and beated up the DT, but still i didnt know what i needed to do to win.

Anyone got a answer on that?

Ooh.. I was having problems with this.. just followed the links above to check victory conditions, & my translator failed with:

Holzfaeller

Going to load up my saved game now & try to complete this one..

Oh & @ megg.. love the Settlersgang site (I remember when it was first launched http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif) but those links to the walkthru's are a bit muddled.. at least for this one.. I'm thinking.. perhaps I was too hasty in going back to beat up the DT..?

I've built one of each building in the NW settlement, & then went on to take the entire map.. perhaps the scripting requires the DT to still have a base for the win condition?

Yay!

Solution is.. don't beat up the DT until after you have taken the NW peninsula.. the win condition is not that hard to get, & the DT can then be squished with a sharpened siegbedingungsscript http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Glad that you managed to finish it - I remember having problems with that map, and ended up just filling in time while on that peninsula, possibly building towers or using pioneers, and suddenly I had the You Win message.

It is so long ago, I can't remember what I did with the DT or other ai, though. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Hi,
Newbie :-)

I have had exactly the same problem - took over the whole map, totally destroyed DT - nothing happened and no sign of Mayans.
I followed your link to patches - but can't find any patches.

Am I just thick, or have they moved - could someone help, please, as it is doing mu nut in!
ps alos tried the "win!" cheat - and still nothing happened.

Some questions for you, did you follow the link to the German walkthrough, and use a translator to try to follow it?

I did the following and the Mission suceeded:

1. Built a Donkey Ranch
2. Trained one Geologist and had him explore the mountain the furthest away from the Dark Tribe (found Coal and Iron Ore)
3. Built a large residence
4. Built one coal mine and one Iron Mine
5 Built One Wind Mill and One Bakery
6. Trained 20 Theives and sent them to the new proposed settlement site.
7. Built 1 Iron smelting works one toolmakers hut set toolmaker to produce 30 spades and 10 hammers.
8. Built a vehicle hall set hall to build 3 Carts.
9. By now you should have 3 donkeys stop production off donkeys. and Build a forrester to help wood production
10. Build a weaponsmith and produce a few (3 bows)
11. Build another large residence and pull down the other one and do the same with the small towers
12. Train any Free settlers above 50 to thieves and sent to new settlement sites.
Change 2 carts into settlement carts (train 30 pioneers)
13. Build a market place just below the stone deposits and 3 storage areas
14. Build another large residence and tear old one down keep only 50 free settlers on hand any more will cause the Dark tribe to visit.
use foundation carts at new settlement to start off settlement do it so that the pioneers can reach the tip of the wood arrow.
15. Build a market place at new settlement.
16. Produce saws axes fishing rods and sythes at toolsmith store all excess goods at storage sites.
17. sent excess goods via market place to new settlement. stop production in all buildings and pull down all towers and buildings send troops top new settlement.
18. train all remaining settlers to thieves and send to new settlementthere should remain at the original setlement 7 settlers they will collect all the wood and stone from the collapsed buildings and place the on the storage sites and then move them to market for transportation to new settlement.

19. Build new settlement and enlarge area with small towers and pioneers till 80% of the area is covered the you win will pop up when the Mayans attack the dark tribe

20. Important : Do Not attack the dark Tribe and do not provoke any attacks from them so keep your buildings as far away from the borders with the Dark Tribe as possible in the old settlement.
