If you use the pregenerated characters you will begin the game with more powerful characters. Otherwise your characters will all have the same number of points to play with. It's mostly a matter of personal preferences.

You do not begin the game with any NPC's. You start with four PC's and can pick up NPC's as the game progresses.

The Right to command is bought with Duty, the Privilege of rank is Service.

Which of the pregen characters would be the best to have in a group? I have the dwarf, rogue, cleric and padlin in mine. (sorry about the spelling) http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The NPCs you obtain will be pretty much linear as you only have access to certain areas after completing some quests. Don't worry about losing much if a new NPC catches your eye as they have progressive leveling where they will match your party. Just take all their gear before swapping them.

You're welcome. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Here is something handy. If you save right before you swap it makes it easier to decide if you are going to keep them, and if not reload.
