I mentioned this before they added the Mod forum.

I just really need to see a JP style mod done. If it is done as well as the FarCry game itself it would be worth paying for.

If any mod teams are working on it I have some suggestions.

I have created some maps for Operation Flashpoint and code php and coldfusion but lack the skills for mod making but would like to help out if possible.

The closet game was probably that Trespasser game which wasn't that good.

I'm working on a model and texture for the grey and red Jeep from Jurassic Park. Specifically, the open aired version (as opposed to Nedry's cloth-top). I'll keep the lot of you updated with my progress.

The only thing I have to offer is I have idea's for scenarios/settings within a JP mod. I wouldn't mind beta testing too.

I definetly like the idea for a JP mod. The far cry engine seems perfectly suitable for such a mod. I don't know if the ideas are serious, but if they are, count me in!

I don't have a lot of experience in mod building however. I do have some experience in making maps, and i'm busy learning all I can in the sandbox editor.

When needed, I do have some programming skills in C/C++/Basic but not in a modding context.

The day before I downloaded the first Far Cry demo, I watched a Jurassic Park marathon (Jurassic Park, The Lost World and the craptacular Jurassic Park III). One of the first things I said to myself after playing the demo was "Holy crap, a Jurassic Park mod for this game would rock!"

I don't know if it could get any better than outrunning a T-Rex in one of those Hummers.
