For those of you who havent read the manual through, to have seperate fog settings for a certain area, or to use the storm effect (in entities->render->storm), you need to do the following.
1. Make an area or shape object, give it length, width and height.
2. Create a render entity (fog, storm, etc.)
3. Select the area or shape again, right down the bottom there is a pick button - use that and pick the render entity.
4. You've now told the render entity to use that area for the effect.
As an example, for the swamp map I can make it rain more in particular areas, and have less or more fog in others.
