ANNOUNCEMENT:
Today a disturbing package made its way to my front door. Inside the package was what I can only assume to be the rubber replica of Rand Miller's finger! The finger had attached to it a note which I will recount here,
"Greetings Surface Dwellers,
It has came to our attention that you have been attempting to restore our caverns of the dead. We do not appreciate this. If you want back any of the members of your so-called "D'ni Restoration Council" or "Cyan Worlds" you must immediately cease and decist all actions within the caverns and leave immediately. If you do not respond, we shall send you something more real next time as a further warning.
You can not find us for we are in what you call an "Age" that you will never discover, so don't even try.
Signed,
The Descendants of the D'ni."
So there we have it folks, this explains where everyone has been for the last ten days. The living descendants of the D'ni are ticked and have abducted the teams working on restoring Uru. These must truly be mad men, for who else would send a rubber finger replica of Rand Miller to a random person like me?
Please take care and watch your backs.
Maztec
[PS: Yes, this is a joke. Feel free to add to the story!]

I too received a package - However the letter read as follows:
"Hey pal,
Look, I know we've been through a lot - Yeesha get you one of those sexy burlap party shirts? Yeah, I got one too - she got me a medium - what a joke! Anywho, I'm partying with these D'ni cats and they're hot to trot for the munchies - could you possibly send me some of my cool ranch cornchips - and some Mexigold brew - oh, and limes! Lots of limes!
I know this'll sound weird, but can you get me some rubber replicas of Rand's fingers? We're pullin a bit of a wheeze here, and we've run out. I got Maztec and a couple of others, but I've still got a few that need their chains pulled. Thanks a billion bro,
Jeff Z."
Inside the package were nacho crumbs. Emily Post is just rolling in her grave.

Don't you get it people? The DRC haven't been abducted by mad men, they were the ones who didn't want the explorers in the cavern in the first place! When I came back to the cleft after completeing my mission from Yeesha Zandi was gone with out a trace! I tried knocking on his door but he didn't answer, and flies were eating his burger, HIS burger! Zandi has been missing for days!
Don't you get it explorers, it all fits like a puzzle. The DRC killed Zandi to eliminate his influence, then sent a letter to scare away the explorers, then pinned it all on Zandi. I don't know about you but the second time I went to the cleft it smelled up bit like rotting flesh.
Those barricades aren't for saftey, the DRC plots and conspicaries behind them!

Hey... Mac... Buddy...
Do you know how much profit there is in bridges? Just think, every single person that drives over a bridge - you can get a little piece of that action. The reason I'm tellin ya, well, I own this network of bridges, but one of my biggest earners, she needs her own personal care. So tell you what, why don't you pull ten grand out of the bank (You'll make that back in a DAY) and we'll go down to Brooklyn so as you can peruse the structure. Good? Nice.
