I was having a graphical problem where by the images would tear through and become really messy. Also Jade's eyes for ezample, would leave her body! It was really weird. Anyway, I went to Nvidia and downloaded the 53.03 dets/forceware drivers for my Ti4400 128MB DDR Geforce4 card. While I was there I also downloaded the latest drivers for my Nforce mobo.
Low and behold, after restarting I can now play the game smoothly with no graphical blemishes.
So my advice to anyone having graphical problems, before posting - make sure:
a) your mobo has the latest drivers
b) your graphics card has the latest drivers
