I still havent got the game yet , it wont release till 2rd April
by the way , I want to know if the full version is much smoother compare to the demo
on the demo I run every thing maxed out , on Very High , no FSAA or AF , hum.....its playable FPS around 30-50
I have
P4 3ghz 800FSB , ATI 9800 Pro 128mb , 1GB DDR400 Ram , Audigy , Creative Megaworks THX 5.1

I noticed quite a jump; demo ran 20-30 outdoors for me in fort, the full game runs 30-40 outdoors on fort (this is on average)

My rig is similar to yours (Malachi_1) and I had significant increases -- but at 512Mb memory, the stuttering is pretty intense. My guess is you need at least a gig to get it running smoothly. Reducing shadows helps enormously.

Yeah I would wait as the price of a 9800XT will drop with the release of the next-gen cards.

I think the full version runs a little better. I run at 1024x768 with AA, AF, and most settings at Very High, the rest at High. FPS are at least 40-50 and the game is incredibly smooth for the amount of detail.
This is with a P4c 2.8 with HT, 512MB RAM and a Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb. Occasionaly after loading a level there's a little stutter but that's due to not having 1GB of RAM
