The game runs fine on my pc, the only problem is that my mouse and keyboard has a very slow response time. So slow that its hard for me to play in 3rd person mode because it takes me forever to line my char up with stuff that I need to click on. Can someone please help me with this annoying problem?

Having your graphics settings too high can affect mouse movement. Have you tried lowering them (in the tabbed dialogue box where you choose your character)?

What type of mouse/keyboard are you using?

I have Logitech for both. I was using a cordless optical mouse and found it was very unreliable in the game. I switched to a corded optical and have not had problems since. I never had a problem with the keyboard, which is also cordelss.

You might try to update the drivers. If you click on the "?" in the game and go to advanced, you can adjust your mouse properties there.

Your mouse and/or keyboard have to be up to speed in order to enjoy this game.

Good luck.

From here to there is a short distance, if you don't have far to go.

Goofling's is the solution that works for me. Even with a graphics card with 128MB of RAM, frame rates go down and mouse lag goes up when I select full graphics settings.

Kick things down a notch at a time until you get to a setting that is acceptable for you.

PoolMan8,

If updating your mouse drivers and adjusting graphics settings don't help, also try unchecking the 'Allow EAX effects' and 'Hardware acceleration' boxes on the Uru Setup menu's Audio tab. Lag can sometimes result from these audio settings.
