Need help! Editing my Movie

Hi All,
I started to get into movie making with my Lomac.
I made my first movie , OMG! It's so bad.
I need help, I use the in game record/edit feature within Lomac, Then I use Windows movie maker to finish it with sound an so on. But I can't seem to get the " Editing" part of it down. If some of you movie makers who use the same tools as I to make your movies give me a short walkthrough. maybe make a small clip and explain step by step on how it was done.Like I said my "EDITING" skills need help.

firstly if its movie maker 1, then download movie maker 2, its far better anf for free to boot

Thanks for your reply. Yes I use Movie Maker 2.
What I need help with is the Lomac in game " Edit" feature. I'm a little lost on how to edit the movie so just to use the scene's I want for my movie.
Sorry for the newbness of the question. But I'm lost here.

ok, i cant really help you with that because i use fraps, and a lot of the time 'capture on the fly'

I suggest you read the forums for tips on the in-game editor.
There are many glitches with it, BUT most have work arounds.
Alot of times you are stuck rendering footage you dont need just to get the shot you want, but that is easily clipped out in your editting program. When rendering with the in-game tool, you must make sure that no changes are made to the camera angle before the point of "punch-in" (thats if you are not starting the render at the begining of the clip.
Again- Most all of the issues with track recording have been identified and work arounds provided on these forums. You just got hunt around a bit.
