Been a while since I fought him. But this strategy pretty much works with all creatures to a decent degree.

Play defensively (unless the creature sweeps your feet)
Block, if you aren't attacking keep blocking while moving, if they sweep then dodge. usually the big armored people, like his father, are slow attackers, they swing and if they miss they take a while to recover. use this time that you've either dodged or blocked and attack, a few hits and wait..other option i like to use is the freeze attack (single enemy) when they miss you hit them with the freeze that leaves them wide open to full out attacks that will kill them

problem is while trying to beat the others i get killed . Will keep trying.

no mattter how many guards i kill with th knife. More just keep appearing. Do they stop appearing when i kill his father?

i believe there is a certain amount of them, just happens to be they send a few at a time replacing each other till you've killed them all.

If i remember right thatshow i did it, i killed all the guards and finally killed him last. Key is using the rewind when you take a big hit or multiple hits

Once you've defeated about five waves of soldier fellows, big daddy will actually start taking damage. The hard part is keeping Farrah safe from those little cockroaches jumping all over her.

My advice: Learn to use the wall attacks. Use them all the time. Sure, it's not as flashy or cool, but you can take out enemies that you can't vault over with just a simple combo instaed of trying to parry and getting screwed. Also, if you hit the ground, *never* try to get up immediately. They will *pulverise you*. Block, then get up when it's safe.

Yup. That is right strategy. As wyckedfae wrote if you kill the other soldiers the sand king becomes weak and after you kill all the soldiers you can use the normal vault over attack and kill him but you have to vault over repeatedly without taking much hit.

You can also circle around him and attack his left side. His blocks are slower there because he holds his sword in his right hand; you can get two hits in and then rotate some more.

Or just constantly do the jump-over-enemy-and-strike-in-the-air move. That's how I beat him. *shrug*
