I had played the demo and was pretty fun but there was anti-aliasing and a pixel shading problem but I figured it would be patched in the actual game. It sounds like it hasn't and there are many more problems. So I just want to ask the buying community. Is this worth my 40 dollars? because I don't come by 40 dollars a lot so I don't want to waste it on a bug infested game.

If you have a decent system to run it, yes this game is of landmark and fame status on par with Halflife, Deus Ex and Thief.

If you have a medium system, its still a great game to play but visuals won't be nearly as impressive.

It's a landmark game in many ways, and no buggier than anything else released recently - in singleplay anyway.

Just wanted to say if you have a med-highend system run as fast as you can and get this game. To date its by far the best game ever made IMHO. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif

You dont need a "Pole" for a game like this my friend.
The game comes with so many tweaks that you can get it to run on an ATARI 2600!

Put it this way, get it. Even running at medium the graphics are still some of the best you will have seen, except make sure you can run at high textures at least...medium textures are yuck.

About 2Ghz, 1Gig RAM and an FX5700/9600XT or above will do you for great graphics (not the best but still damn good and sweet looking) and good framerate (30+ at all times and 40-60 Average)

Add another 512Mb and switch the 9600XT for a 5700 Ultra and you have my system (asus mobo and all). You shouldn't have any trouble running at medium-high at 1280x1024 (if you want to go that high) or higher detail at lower res...
