are you sure you can delete the message? if you go to edit/delete, the pop-up window gives you a choice to delete message, right?

If you made a double post just edit (read remove) the text and put a http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/1072.gif in return.

Well wait, if i tried it a while back it would say i'm not allowed to edit or delete posts but it was my own post.

You cannot delete a post, but like Djiant says, you can edit. And if I notice the "oops double post" when i'm going through i'll usually delete it for ya. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

notice how i have two replies? i had about 6 or 7 because of my connection. i kept on hitting post new. so i deleted the other 5 and now ill delete the other one. i dont see why you cant delete a post, ive done it before.

People gotta stop being impatient and wait after hitting "post now" 1 time and 1 time only.

End of double,triple,quadruple posts....heck I saw a guy do it 9 times.

Admins and moderators only can delete posts. Kinda makes peopl think twice before running off at the mouth...(though they can edit)

this is very true, i am kinda impatient. the only reason i clicked it so many times was cause my internet cut out and i wasnt sure if the posts went through. but anyway, i can delete my own posts, not just edit them.
