View Full Version : stuck in the booby-trapped courtyard - please help

I have gotten to the point where you take a drink of water from the fountain in the room with the rope bridges, and then transported back to the courtyard. There are two poles that you can swing from, and then a groove in the wall that you jump onto from the last pole. After I jump onto the groove I don't know what to do since you can't jump sideways onto the ledge next to it. What do I do?

You can jump sideways, but you can hang/dangle from edge and scoot over

Ok, you are trying to jump sideways but it does not work taht way. Move to the right (the other wall) and from there press A and you will jump. Max.

I've just got past that bit.I'm now in front of a wooden door which i can't open. I just want to know if i've missed a switch somewhere.

I need a better description of where you guys are stuck if you havent gotten past that yet. you go into that rope room a few times...I will help if you let me know where you are.

I've come out 0f the room where the bridges are and where he drinks some water and gets a bigger enegy bar. I have to run along the wall, Crab onto a bar. Swing to the next. Then on to a crack. Jump back onto another platform. Then i come to a bit where there is a circular saw in the wall. I run alongs wall jump sideways. I then jump uo then back onto another bar. Which i swing up and land infront of a wooden door which is looked or shut.

Do you know what save percentage this is...so I can check my saves to see...there are soooo many things in this game its hard to remember them all...

You have to go futher pass a small wall fountain and then on the right side you will see another wall saw trap and you have to cross it by 'walking on the wall' and then step on the door unloack tile on the floor. Then you have to trace back as quick as possible so that you can enter before the door closes. Let me know if you need more details.

I'm knew to the game and ned a little help. I have looked through the other threads, but don't see the one for me. I am (I belive) is at the end of 14%. The cut seen sent me down to fight along side of sarah. I have killed all the zombies and took thier sand away so they don't come back. Now all that is left is (I think) is the dad and the other guy in blue. I've tried killing the dad, but there's no sound as if I'm even hurting him. And when I try to kill the other guy, All he does is block and there doesn't seem to be any hurting him. Please help.

The blue guys are a little harder...you cant jump at them from the front...best thing to do is to use the walls...if you are on playstation, push left stick towards wall...then hit x button...you will make it over him..hit x again...and knock him down the take his sand. to kill the dad..you have to hit him from behind...flip over him continually...have to do this a bit..then it will be over.

To knock down blue monsters one has to wall attack. Pressing against wall and jumping off I think. Just block his attacks and lead them against a wall and jump attack. Keep pressing towards the wall till Prince flies off. If they are close enough the game will automatically make you fly like superman and knock down the blue enemy. Once he is down use dagger to drain his sand.

This move is hard when one isn't used to it but easy once you get the hang of it. You might need some practice.

Oooops. My apologies. I don't know how I stumbled on this thread. I am still new and posting not more than a week and still getting a feel. I should have checked the date. My bad. Will be more careful in the future.
