Ive read the manual and it says nothing about saving.
I keep getting errors when trying to load a map that I have created.
It says: "Level folder must be relative to root folder" or "Level mast be stored in Master CD/Levels/Level Name folder"

Make sure you save your map inside the FarCry\Levels directory.
Make sure the map has its own folder inside the Levels directory. For example: FarCry\Levles\yourlevelname\yourlevelname.cry
Sounds like the level you saved/created is saved inside the Levels directory but not inside its own folder.
When this is correct start FarCry, open the console (~) and type: \map yourmapname
Could be wrong.... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif
[edit - also I think the folder you saved it in has to have the same name as the level itself, ie FarCry\Levels\yourmap\yourmap.cry

Chap, I think he's wanting to know how to get it compiled so it's able to play ingame. this is what you do, make sure your map is saved in a folder inside the levels file (something like mp_mapname)
here's the tricky part, with your map open go to mission at the top menu, go to "new" name it whatever gamemode your wanting your map to be, if its free for all name it "FFA", hit okay. now go to mission>edit equipment packs, add whatever weapons you want the player to have on spawn, like machete and the falcon, hit okay. now go to missions>properties under where it says "player-equipment-pack" there is that blank box, click it and hit okay after the equipment-pack window opens, what this does is select it, now you can see its added FFA, hit okay. after your done with that go to missions>select, and now select the new one you just made named as FFA, there might be a default one in there already named Default or something like that, you might have to delete this for it to work, I'm not sure.
now generate surface textures and choose 4096x4096, let it load, once its done save it and go ingame and it should all work, sorry if i didn't explain anything that well i just typed this up real quick.
