This is realy strange....
If got a p4 2,4 ghz with Hyper Treading, 768 MB RAM (DDR 266), A Geforce FX 5600 With 256 Mb... Sounds not bad eh?! IT IS!
Ingame outdoor if got Maximum 35 FPS.. and ingame Indoor only 15 fps..!?
Can Somebody tell me: Is this because of my computer or is it a bad demo?

I too have these performance issues.
My Specs:
AMD XP 2600+ 266 Barton Core
Nvidia FX 5600 256 DDR
1.0 GIG 2100 DDR
Soundblaster Live (an old one)
I also run at 800 x 600 with all details on low to ensure smoothness. I do have latest drivers on both my nVidia card and Direct X 9.0b

untill i downloaded the lates drivers i had everything set to medium, now i got everything on high except water and enviroment and special effects detail which are set to very high, game runs better than ever.
if final version is like this i'll be happy

Ok,
First off I did use the new drivers from nVidia 56.xx but I noticed that since the installation of the drivers, of course, that the distant terrain was very grey and shady, however the trees and foilage remained very green. It does not look good at all. Plus the new version of drivers do not allow for me to adjust more settings like I used to with 53. However, 56.xx does run much smoother, at 800x600 I get 30 to 50 fps. However adjusting it past medium detail and to any higher res will automatically slow it down.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this greyed out distant terrain, its very annoying. I can post a screen shot here if anyone wants to see.
Thanks,
The Doctor

Also on approaching objects, such as foilage and even terrain, i notice that in the distance the are smudged, but when in close range they snap to a clearer image. It did not do this with 53.xx drivers.

If getting the proper drivers doesnt fix it...
Ditch the 5600fx and get a faster card, or turn down your graphics settings.
But most likely its just the drivers, i have a buddy who can play it on an 1800+ with radeon 9000pro and 512 ddr, at mid-Low settings, so your system should be more than capable of at least doing the same.

I agree, I've been looking at benchmarks and man, the FX cards blow, except for 5900 series. I am going to go ATI this time around and break a life long tradition.. bohoo http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif oh well, Im over it. Its no biggie though, I spent 100 dollars about a year ago on my 5600 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif No big loss here http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

If you want a REALLY good card for $200 bucks, grab the ATI 9800 Pro. That thing owns everything Nvidia has except the 5950 Ultra, at which they are about equal (except the 5950 Ultra costs $100-$200 MORE).

Why don't you set your resolution down, and your Graphic settings up. I used to play at 1024x768 but realized the huge performance boost I get by using 800x600 and now that is all I use. Of coarse I only have a Geforce 3 ti200. If I had an ATI radeon 9800xt or a geforce fx whatever the he** the newest one is, then I would have everything including the resolution up high!
