I think the time on rounds needs to be raised and people need to use flashes, breaching charges, claymores, and most importantly... WORK AS A TEAM! You ever play a terrorist hunt, well wouldnt it just be AWESOME if people did that in a team survival, slowly approaching and taking there time, leaning and checking rooms, a sniper to back his team up, flashbanging a room and charging, etc... just imagine. This game Rainbow Six Three is suppose to be a realistic game, so why not play realisticly?

claymore mines...has anyone ever found a puropse for them in the game? I supose you could set a trap, but it's almost impossible ot use claymore mines and remote charges in the game. I jsut jsut frags cuz thier faster and I don't waste time setting them up.
I don't think people tend to play realistically in adversarial modes because
1.) it takes a lot of extra effort (doing voice comms, covering each other, making plans)
2.) winning can often be achieved without playing realistically
3.) playing unrealistically can be fun, too (or, on the other hand, playing realistically can be a pain, depending on your point of view)
4.) it's easy to play this game just like any other first person shooter
and probably more reasons than I haven't yet thought about.

I mostly play single player. Which is realistic enough for me. How about you try SP too?

Nobody in any of the servers ever wants to work together in a squad or use any cooperative tactics. Its why I'm sorta getting turned off COOP.

Besides...ppl complain too much if they have to wait for the round to end. Tactics bore most ppl in our servers....LOL

Ya most people playing games these days have the attention span of a small child, and an ego the size of a planet.
There are a few good servers out there, just gotta search for the needle in the haystack.

Well, realistically could work if you're the last one on your team (I did it once in team survival, the enemy team was running around like headless chickens; I heard them but they never heard or saw me), but then again it does bore people and there's no neccesity in it sometimes. And I do agree with UMP, playing realistically is great if everyone can wait for you (since they're all bots).
On the other hand, I remember playing this cooperative game in MP once - everyone was dead except one guy, and he usually took until the end of the round (most of us dies off early on), and we got near kicking him.
