Are you limited to the online campaigns that came installed with Ace Pack or can you design your own *.mis file and start a new online campaign from this *.mis template? Has anyone added and started a new custom campaign? Just starting to figure out the ngen folder and its role with regards to the online campaign generator.

Thanks,

I would like to know also.

I'd really like to play all sorts of years with different aircraft from different countries...

I'm at the point I can get one recognized in the list, but still haven't deciphered all the files yet. It consists of three elements, the data base file, the red and blue.mis files, and the CampaignCustomxxxxxx file.

The first two are fairly easy to figure out, it's getting the last to match up, and understand what exactly all the entries do. I'm not building one from scratch, but trying to get some new templates working. Once I can do that, the rest should be easy, if not a little time consuming.

Grab some good raw templates here, you'll have to modify a few item, but they're pretty close already.

Victory, I've got both Stalingrad campaigns running and can get into the missions fine. Only thing left is to update and match the plane listings between the .DB and CamapaignCustom. May add a few, Spitfires over Stalingrad sounds sweet. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif You can simply copy a used .CC, use the 42, save you some work coppying the planes. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif Make sure you copy the dates and they match or you'll get a message 'Blue can't load a base'.

Drop the extra values behind the city list on the VEF .DB's. Chop the last entries type on your VEF .mis files also. Just check the ones that work to see the difference.

In your plane listings, the first plane name is the static model, the one after is the flyable. Name structure is different, I'm guessing you have to add some on the .mis file if you add a new type.

Big thanks for the info, I guess a lot of MBers are trying to figure this one out. Too bad they didn't include SDK's for this game!

Keep us updated if you can, I'll try to look at it this weekend.
