There is a thread 5 or 6 down fromt his one called "Flanker2.0 on WIN XP?". Read that thread, if that doesnt help you, then tell us specifically what errors you are getting with flanker.

Windows XP needs lots of system resources (around 1 GB HDD space and 128 MB RAM minimum). It can also cause Flanker to malfunction (because the sim was made in the time when Windows 95 was still widespread,so it seems that Emulation option doesn't work always. The manual also says that Flanker is Windows 95 game).
