In the SC:PT MP demo I'm getting weird sound issues with my Audigy 1. For an exemple, if I fire multiple times, like firing all my ammunitions on the wall, on burst mode, after few shots I won't hear my gun anymore. When I stop firing, then reload and fire, i'll hear it, then do the same issue.

I'm getting weird things in SP demo too. Anytime in the demo, when there's a discussion btw 2 people (i.e: passanger who wants ear plugs...), the sound is like echo. I can her the voices, but I'm like in a church lol!

Anybody knows? I,m using headphones and lastests Audigy drivers, to support EAX3

Thanks!

I have an Audigy also.. I fixed the gun sound problem by taking someones advice.. going into your online system folder in the PT directory.. look for something that says Default.con or some config file saying that.. scroll down until you see the Audio section.. turn the HardwareMixer to False. Fixed it for me.. not sure if it has any bad side affects.. like a decrease in sound effects when they are far away. but it got rid of that annoying gun from not making noise... not sure about your voice problem.. make sure your mixer isn't set to Church effect http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

I have an Audigy 2 Platium and the same thing happened to me with the Retail Version. But when I tried to fix it, it didn't do anything.

For Audigy cards (not Audigy 2) try this

bne123: ? My card plays the sound just fine. Maybe you have something wrong with your driver? Try runing creatives diagnostics...

Ok thanks for the tip for the MP. I'll try that soundmixer on the SP demo, I hope it'll works.

why should I try to install Audigy 2 drivers on my Audigy 1??
