Is this really a question. Without any dought 9600XT. Why would you want to waste the same amount of money on a card the isn't fully DirectX9 (Nvidia only runs on Half Duplex).

It's not a 9800 XT, it's a 9600 XT. His choice is between the slightly older variant of the top-line nVidia card, or the high mem version of the midrange Radeon card. This one, I am not sure of. I think with newer drivers you might come out better with the 5900 Ultra, actually.

Me to. 9600xt is great card but itâ´s in category with 5700. 5900 is high-end card (9800xt).
I just asked one guy on pcekspert and he told me that 5900 with "lower" memory is better then 9600 with high memory.
Anyone have any reason why should I buy 9600?

The 5900 is a lot better than the 9600XT!!!
Because the GeForce 5900 is as good as a Radeon 9800. The Radeon 9600 XT is a better version of the Radeon 9600 Pro!!!
Thatâ´s a lot worse than the Radeon 9800!!!
Normally the GeForce 5900 is 20 percent better than the Radeon 9600XT. I have a GeForce 5900, and I can play everything. My friend has a lot of problems with his Radeon 9600 XT.
Yeah, like I said, buy the GeForce 5900 or wait a few months (PCI-Express, NV40, R420 etc.)!!!!!!!!!!

The MSI one is the best. That's the one I have. Their cooling unit is perfectly quiet and does a great job of keeping the card stable during overclocking.
