1.01 patch cuase my game to lag

some reason after i update my game, it begans to lag. the new patch is suppose to be better.

spec:
amd athlon xp 2500+
ati radeon 9600xt
micron 512mb pc-2700
widnwos xp sp1

It's not better. In fact it's known to have a nasty new bug. Thus it's recommended that you don't update to 1.01 unless you have a problem with 1.00. (People with certain AMD processors don't have the luxury of not updating.)
