really need a solution to this

Well heres my prob.Even on main screen when it runs through the island,it pauses every couple of seconds.In game it does the same,when it does this framerate drops from say 100 plus sometimes down to 1,also if i say turn around it does the same,then goes back up again.

I have tried everything,from d3d to open gl,all resolutions and gfx options.Diff drivers,reinstalled game,and now just done a complete format and reinstallation,and it still does it.

It auto-detects me comp as medium,which is a piss take,as guys with lesser systems,r getting autodects of high and more.

Dunno what i can do now,as the game is totally unplayable for me.

Specs- Barton 3200 cpu,512 ddr 3200 ram,and geforce fx 5950 ultra.Now to me thats a pretty good rig.Anyway fed up with messin with it now.So think i will go back to ut 2k4.


lol even running 800 res in a window,and it still does it,havin a shootout with a guy,and down to 1 frame,its like playin it on 486.

I notice loads of hard drive activity when it happens,tried closing as many background stuff i can.Once its rendered a scene,obviously it stops then for a sec.Even freezes on the training level,when the control tips come on screen.Its feckin mad.

Looks like i shall have to take the game back.Damn shame

Well im gonna say bump,has to be a reason for these probs,me other games run fine.
