try redownloading the drivers or go to GURU3D.COM and download from thier mirror. theres many other newer drivers you could try too but i would recommend finding the 44.03 drivers.

Ok, Mr. Eternally grateful, post your computer specs. For all we know, you have a Commodore 64 and just stuffed a video card into your computer.

wow Mr. Turdd, you are very very rude to people. How are you ever going to get along in this world? I wonder if you talk to your mother with that mouth.

By college, I've gotten along just fine... I really, REALLY don't care if you think I'm rude... now stop badgering me, ya sneaky spammer.
BTW, I love my mother much, and I talk to her dearly.

Right.
First - don't be too hard on the kiddies. They like posting by the looks of it, and they don't seem to care whether they are helpful or not just as long as they can cram as many posts into one forum as possible. You cannot ask much from a 12-14 year old who thinks he is a computer genius just because he can tell everyone he meets to check their drivers.
Second - to durdd, you should actually READ the question before posting your regular answer (you seem to know only that one by the looks of it). And to help someone with installation problems you DON'T need to know the computer specs.
Third - special_op_ - no comment...
At last we come to the problem at hand.
From my experience things like that occur when you have a broken install file. Check the driver version - is it meant for your OS or not. Try redownloading the driver, but place it somewhere in a different location (could be that you may have bad sectors on the disk). Don't stick to the same driver. Try downloading at least two other versions of it (newer ones should do it). Make sure that there is ABSOLUTELY no trace of the old drivers left on your system. Check the net for driver removing utils (can't recall the name at the moment). If that doesn't help, a good idea would be to do a clean install of Windows with all the new (read: newly downloaded) drivers and software. Usually works like a charm.
