Help - 1st Reception Hall

I just got the game and am in the first reception hall. I kill the first wave of sand creatures with the sand dagger but the second wave of creatures never show for me to kill. So, I cannot get out of the room and follow the young woman. What am I doing wrong??

Don't worry, the second wave WILL come for sure. Just walk around the room till they arrive. Sometimes it takes a while.
At the moment you'll get the scene where the prince puts away his sword, you can save your game and follow Farah, through the crack in the door.
