Didn't want to give anything away with the title. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

OK. It is obvious from the Words of the Watcher that we are directed to by those cloth things (did anyone else think they were looking up scriptures? I keep referring to them as Bible verses) that some puzzle somewhere has something to do with waiting. It would be nice to think that these ... verses refer to the location where they are found, advocated by the fact that the one towards the end of Er'cana talks about 625, which apparently applies to that puzzle. But almost every other verse refers to waiting for the path to be revealed, or something like that. Do these apply to the Path/Door/Rolling ball puzzle in the sanctuary only, or to all three ages? I am currently stuck in both main ages and am wondering if I am supposed to be waiting for something in those ages, or just in the sanctuary. Hints/nudges only please, I really want to figure this out on my own as much as possible.

Another thought: does the number 625 even have anything to do with the Er'cana puzzle where the verse is found? That would point toward the verses only referring to the sanctuary puzzle. Hmmm....

625 is the number of lines in all the books.

Roll that ball up to the middle of that tunnel and then look up. The clocks will give you a hint to another "time" you need.

625 is supposedly the sign of the Watcher, but if look around Ahnonay, you will find a couple of hints that tell you what you have to do.

Remember those strange numbers you found all over the new ages? Hopefully you marked them down. Read the passages in the Books of the Watcher. Find the correct ones and you'll get the solution.

-"The path of the stone is toil for the gathered"
-"Seek the path of the shell"
-"Rest in the light"
-"Be still and the path will be made known"
-"The future is always revealed to those who wait"
-"The gathered will find rest when the light comes"

Try dechipering this and that ball puzzle is a snap.

Perhaps I was unclear. I am not thinking about the sanctuary puzzle at all right now. I really just want to know whether the verses apply to that puzzle only or if they apply to the Ages where they are found; I'm muddling through Er'cana and Ahnonay and am wondering if I should be considering the verses to get through them. Thanks for your help, but I'm really not looking for hints on the rolling ball thing yet. (BTW, I didn't read the "major spoiler," just so you know where I'm coming from. Trying hard to be picky about how much spoilage I expose myself to.) Thanks again, and happy exploring!

The verses apply at the end I think, when you have all of them. The verses in Ahnonay serve no purpose there.

Without giving away answers, which is what the first poster asked, I can give you the following hint about 625.

Hint: Don't give it a few "seconds" thought, but wait a few "minutes", and I'm sure that if you "divide" yourself away from the puzzle, you'll come up with an answer as to what 625 means.

The verses apply most clearly to the sanctuary puzzle, but I tend to think they've been placed with a purpose as well. Themes such as waiting, light, time, and deception are relevant in more than one place... one of the things I appreciate about PotS is that there's a large conceptual unity that binds all the pieces.

Thanks everyone for your help! Unfortunately I have a busy week coming up and I'm not going to get to play very much. Maybe it'll give me some time to mull over what I'm working on. Or, more likely, I will be driven into a helpless state of insanity as I suffer from withdrawal. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif
See you guys later!
