Hey,
In the videos and also in one screenshot, Sam stands behind a NPC and in the action box theres the action "Grab NPC". Dont think that its a good label, since it brings you back to reality, and reminds you that its just a game (i know, this is not really a good explanation, but some people might understand). Why cant UBI keep the label Character?

good point...but probably changed back to 'character' in the final version...

Attaining a hundred victories in a hundred battles is not the pinnacle of excellence. Subjugating the enemy's army without doing battle is the true pinnacle of excellence.

in the video, where sam grabs a guy while hanging on a pipe, the label says: grab character. so i think, it's settled.

What exactly does NPC stand for?

Is it Non-Playable Character?

I've always just seen "NPC" but never the full definition...

yup, Non-Playable Character -NPC. As for the code name of NPC in the game, i agree that it does make u feel like ur playing a game, and u want the game 2 be as real as possible, am i correct? i think they should change it to character in the final product.

SplinterCells: Elite intelligence- gathering forces consisting of a lone field operative.
