Because you have program installed that deletes your cookies every time you close your browser or the browser dose it sometimes!

NineMil. is probably right. YOu should not have to login each time since your authentication information is stored in a cookie. However, if you login from a different machine, the system will log you out elsewhere. So if you're reading this forum from home and work for example, you may end up having to log every time. One solution in this case would be to create a separate account for each PC...
