Made this thread really just so i could tell you a story, but tell your stories too.

Me and my clanmate where in a public game(noob raping) and in hospital, we were destroying these 2 mercs. After getting 2 of the things disarmed and all the rest at 90%, we just went team-aggro on htem. Usually, he would shoot em, throw down a sticky, and purposely miss wit hthe gas, and run away. I would be hiding behind a box, so when the merc starts chasing him, i ran out and snaped him. We won with 45 seconds left from edadicating them. Moral of the story. I too think a diverson tactice works best for snapingI live to have my team mate start to hack with me right by him then when the merc comes to kill him....snap. Then i make the merc watch my partner score.

Good job man! What a nice way to welcome people to the game! And I thought that giving them tips on how to become better was the way to get them to like the game... Silly me.

I dont play that much with noobs (happens) and if the guy is new, i tell him the faults he makes as we advance in the game (turn of the vision in vents! I can see you with EMF! stuff like that)

my favorite neck snaps are the ones where i use the alarm snares to have them walk right past me, following the little arrows... always feel like i've really accomplished something...

Almost all mercs don't look at the sound detector. Even if I'm running behind them they don't turn around.

My best one was also with alarm snares.

It was in museum, at the monolith, i knew the guy was close so i took the N133, he quickly came running, then i shot a alarm snare to the right, jumped up to the monolith, watched him run past and over to the wall, then jumping down and grapping him

Not neck snapping but just as fun:
I was playing in Museum and was getting r0x0r'd so I decided to bust out the 3SC to even the playing feild. I shocked a merc and just as I shot the camera his buddy ran up beside him, presumably trying to find me and r0x0r me some more. I released the gas and he headshotted me. the best is using a wall mine against the merc. they allways set them in places that are high traffic so just hang tite shoot it when they walk by. and take your good ol time neutralizing the nd133.

my stories now. i was in the cinema waitin in the window of the top lobby i had started it earlier bue got disrupted so i ran back to the theatre climbed back up and low and behold a holy grail. the merc set a mine rite on the wall in clear view of the my gun they both came runnin by lookin for me and boom. see ya kids. i'll take that nd133 now.

next story. same type of thing, 30 sec left i even typed gg and both of the mercs came to a doorway that one of them set a mine on. i shot it from the ceiling killed them both and waltzed away with the prize kinda like a 007.

First time:

Im playing against a guy whos a total jerk. If my team is spies, spies get 3 lives, if his team is spies, they get 10.

well, he decides to get cocky, has 2 NDs neutralized at hospital, and chokes me next to 202 which already has90%

he starts singing 'rock a bye baby' carrying my backwards to the shadows. About halfway through his song my teammate shot him in the back.


Later Im a spy against him, sneak up right behind him, no smoke, no shock, no nothing, and grab him.

against most gd people u havent got a chance of breaking their neck unless u can get really close without them seeing you, because as soon as they see the arrow on the screen from to runing to grab them they turn around and tazor ure ***

Depends on how you do it. If you tag team them, they usually don't notice the sound notifier. I always prefer knock outs to snaps... unless the battle for the ND133s is heated then it is on. Aggressive tactic is last resort. Evasion is 1st priotity. If I can evade the Merc completely so be it.
