can't get to edana and amateria

hi i'm new in the game, i just made it to voltanic
but i can focus other two images which i'm guessing lead to other two worlds, i spend days focusing images to the point where lines of the images are matching precisely, i'm moving point by point and nothing

any advise please?

Okay, if you made it to Voltaic you know how the puzzle works that releases the linking books. You need to go to each of the other two tusks and set the 'marbles' in the correct position for the book in that particular tusk.

I found this to be an annoying puzzle as the setting that looked most in focus to me was in fact not the setting that the game accepted. Think of the circles containing the marbles as having 16 'points of the compass' (N, NNE, NE, ENE, E...etc). Each marble must be on the correct one of the 16 points for the book to be released. I suggest you take your results and then use some trial and error, moving each marble back and forth by one compass point, until you hit the solution.

i made it to amateria, the only world i can't enter is edana, that tusk looks unreachable, there are some kind of flowers there, i can get in one, but from there i can't reach the doors, i guess i have to click everywhere to find some kind of link
i'm i any close to the tusk?

Listen for sounds near the flowers at the entrance.

Yes, the tusk door is far away. Looks like you will need a bridge to get there.

Edanna is the 'nature age'. To find your way into the tusk you will need some help from nature. First, I suggest you go down to the pool outside the central tusk and explore around there. Look for some living things that appear to react to one another. Then think how you might be able to use that relationship to make a bridge, higher up...

is edanna the stained glass house in the pool at the bottom!! where do i start there i dont see a lever near the little white animal to drop a cage?? also i looked thru a flower but there was no light to focus!!! whats next????

Rory - the green house at the bottom is Saavs lab. If you haven't been there you need to go there and learn many secrets for the different worlds, also the secret to bring down the linking books which is found in the top level, use the elevator.

You do not need light to focus from the flower, sounds work much better.

im able to go up and across the red bulbs to enter that tusk!!! does that mean im thru down below you see i completed much of this game about 8 mths ago and i dont have the perspective of where ive been or what ive done unless i wander all over the place again!!!!!!!!

Rory, when you enter the tusk you will find a cage with the linking book to Edanna. Use that book to travel there. That's where the age starts. I think you are confusing the white animal and flower in J'nanin (the first age you arrive in) with the animal and flower in Edanna.

Rory, I can't give you any better hint than that I gave Thalasa earlier in this thread. I agree, the puzzle is annoying. Have you gone back to the top of the central tusk and checked your ball positioning through the viewer?

If you are absolutely stuck I can email you the positions.

Rory, I have sent you a private topic with my noted positions (although they should be the same ones Princess sent). However, if it doesn't work after trying those, you probably have some sort of technical problem, because this solution definitely works for me.

Tried those already Aussie i wonder if theres something in the lab i havnt done that is a prerequisite to this i checked the gears under the elevator the crystal = 3 wooden balls is level however the other ball hanging// 4 crystal tablets is not level and i cant do anything to charge that flower <keeps drooping> also there is a level with hanging men that i hadnt noticed before!!! is this a problem or should i get to edanna after crossing the red spores and doing the metal balls in the bird tusk!!! frustration is setting in and i may be ready for another 8 mth hiatus http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for all yalls help!!!!!!!!!!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

A big problem with these marble puzzles is that the viewer in the main tusk and the setup in the age tusk must be the same. I'm not sure it these are puzzles that change with each start or not. You must use the Edanna viewer to finish the Edanna tusk correctly. If you have been able to cross the 'mellon' bridge you are done with the flower and Squee. If you have used the elevator to get to the top of the main tusk you are done with the elevator. Make sure you have the Edanna viewer properly setup and then try again.

actually all the viewers are in focus and set and i cant change them at all, its like they are set and not to be adjusted any more!!!!!!!!

Well, it doesn't matter if you can focus the viewers any more, since you have the settings. Are you saying that you tried the settings AussieMystic and I sent you in the tusk and they don't work? Hmmmm....I seem to remember going back to play after I had finished and running into some trouble getting Edanna to open up. I can't remember what I did -- I think I just started that section of the game again (from a save).

Princess may have the solution, replay that area.

I don't think the game can be done with cheats in this area. You must have the viewer set and then do the puzzle in the tusk. They are somehow linked. I really wonder how the viewers got locked? So if you can't reset the viewers the Princess solution may be all that is left.

i replayed rechecked and redid all of those at least 50 times but not until i downloaded the patch and Shazammm it worked the first time ,reading about the patch it didnt seem to have anything to do with it but it went thru to edanna the first try!! doing the same thing i had done many times before!!!!!!! again thanks so much to all for your patience with me!! it paid off thanks again!!!!!!!!!
