Intro video / screen question

With Raven Shield being a fairly good looking graphical game, it never made sense to me why they would make the opening video and the intro screen be defaulted to 640X480. Anyways for my own piece of mind i'd like to change it. I'm pretty sure that there is some way to do it in the .ini file but i have no clue how to go about doing that. If someone could point me in the right direction about how to open the ini file and modify it to make the opening things 1024X768 i would be much abliged.

I dont think you can change the size, if fact theres a thread about that here already its supposedly ruining peoples new mointors, they cant take the switching back and forth. And be careful about talking about doing that .ini stuff here.

if this seems to be that big of a problem , theres a prog on platoon that stops the intro videos running , goes straight from the splash screen to the main menu

mostly for those launching into servers from ASE and the like

if the videos dont run then surely any trouble with the switching blowing monitors wont occur


try it..cheaper than a new screen

( not convinced that happens tho )

There is an intro remover at our site on the mods page.
If you don't want that, I recommend you use websites like our that have "instant join" links to the servers. This will bypass everything except the map splash screen, when joining a game. "instant joins" work if your install path is the default.
