Could someone compy and paste what their user .ini file looks like with a key bind? Cuz I'm really computer illiterate and I can't get it to work. Just a key bind to make it so when I shoot I also crouch, thanks.

I know a key bind for that but you need to press two keys instead of one: crouch and shoot http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

well I was thinking of doing a crouch+shoot bind, but I hear that PB will possibly consider this as a cheat, anyone know any more about this?

Well after 4 years of playing RS/UO/RvS when ever I shoot I crouch, huh go figure habit=Key bind /i/smilies/16x16_robot-wink.gif

Look on the other threads. There are about 10 of them. But just in case you cant find them:
set input LeftMouse LowerPosture | PrimaryFire | OnRelease RaisePosture
Type that into your console.
Verb, Sap. -- I don't use this anymore. I found it actually was screwing me up more than it was useful, esp. with sniping. Firing with this bind makes your rets bloom somewhat and screws up your aim a little... just enough.
It ain't cheating, but it ain't a cancer cure either.

Ummm soon I hope this to be considered cheating. You are taking the intent of the original keystrokes and turning it into ONE key. To me that is not right. But the debate will go on forever about that one. To stay on the correct path simply bind your crouch key to a mouse button, works for me YET I still remain within the original intent of the game having to use two keys for both commands instead of one key.
Remember this rule. . .
Just because it worked in/on someone else's computer does NOT mean it will work on yours!

besides the fact i think this is a lame cheat, wouldnt your rets never settle if you are constantly moving while shooting?

Ok the only reason I want this key bind is because I've got my keys set up around the arrow keys instead of default, my crouch button is End and even with my long fingers its difficult to crouch shoot and lean at times. All I want to do is make this a bit easier for myself and not have to play with the default keys. I like my key setup and I use it for almost every fps, default isn't an option for me. Thanks for the help.

just my opinion here...but I doubt you'd be very happy with that binding. I agree with jrrich000...what about sniping..or when your behind cover? Or if your crouched when ya shoot...you're gunna go prone. hmmm.
I've got the crouch key toggled...so when I release, I raise my posture. Now the key works more like GR or AA...I dont consider it a cheat...it just saves me hitting another key to stand again.
