Several Friends of mine that I work with have been asking a lot of Questions about My Xbox and have shown interest in buying one or any gaming Console what are some really good things that I can tell them that will convince them to buy,
Remeber most of these guys or 35- 37 but they still want to have fun because I talk about it so much I can't bring my Xbox up to work just yet so I have to rely on selling them on the concept. What do you think ???

you really are lonley FO /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif
Well, the older gamers I know use the PC as their "console". Most play RPG or are diehards for the classics, like Quake or Wolfenstien.
I think its easier to introduce them to PC games than console.

Well if their interests are failry the same as your's I'd really push the Xbox on them so you all can play games against/with one another, seeing as how you have a gamertag there I assume you are LIVE.
Just find the technical aspects of the different consoles and maybe print them off to show your friends. I personally prefer the Xbox, or a good PC.
Here is a link with some decent information on it.

Tell them it is the most advanced of the systems and currently has the best and most easy to use online service. But if they want quantity over quality, the ps2 is theirs. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I second the PC...us folks that have been in the "business" for a long time have come to rely on the PC
for great games... THey are more mature than alot of console games, much longer and in depth, and they lead the gamming world as far as technology and graphics go.

I build PC's with my dad whenever i visit...hes got a shop in his garage...so i usually go there once a week and help him, so getting a good PC isnt a problem for me. And of course i get 50% of the profit from every PC he sells, i do most of the software stuff, while he does most the hardware.

Whats your budget? A small, poor mans budget would buy you a console. What console do I summon upon thee to Duffy's wishing of truth and oh-so-goodness? XBOX, I say! Why? These reasons:
1) Xbox has some of the most "mature" games out there. Halo, Splinter Cell..it rules all. GameCube on the other hand..mario, mario, some luigi..just a bunch of fat plumbers and cute pikachues. And if your 32 yr. old friends really want that, let them be kids. PS2 is a mix, and you might like that, but I'll give you further reasons to get one
2) XBOX Live. Well, actually, its not as big a deal as you want. All these XBOX owners yap about "Play against OTHER people and test your skills!" and act like its a big deal. Its not. For PC gamers anyways. PC gamers have had this for years..but not console owners. And currently, Microsoft has the most organized online supporting system out there. No crashes, no lock-ups. Just play. But be warned..a lot of kiddies also own Xboxes. And trust me, you'll want to keep the volume down, since I dont think the neighbors want to hear a 9 year old screaming out "YOU SUCK MUNKEE BLASS, BEEOTCH!". But you'll like online support
3) For big-handed gamers, like me, you'll want a big controller. And the Xbox has one..but not anymore. I found the old Xbox controllerquite comfortable, until they replaced it with the Controller S. Im not saying the controller S is bad, but is awfully cramped for large handed gamers. But the contoller for the Xbox, is by far the best, controller in my opinion.
4) Power. Yeah, you want power, dontcha? Xbox has it. Equipped with PC like equipment, the Xbox has a Geforce 3 and a Pentium 4 something. I dont know much, since I dont own one. But these components are FAST and POWERFUL, so if you want to be totally immersed in your games, you'll want an Xbox..
..but on the other hand, I also forgot something. The almighty powerful PERSONAL COMPUTER! BWAHAHAHAH! If your not working in McDonals, or working underpaid, you'd probably want to stick with a PC. Heres why:
1) Dont listen to console owners. The PC can outperform the Xbox, PS2 and GameCube at any game. But thats only if you have good hardware.
2) Video card standards are above and beyond the Xboxes. The Xbox has a Geforce 3. If you have a decent PC, you can get a video card thats BETTER. They have Geforce 4 and GeForce FX's already out, for christs sake. But if you want some really powerful sh*t, you could get a Radeon 9800. Those are POWERFUL..
3) Laziness. Yeah..dont you just hate using your computer, then going to you console, then back to your computer? Well, the PC has fixed this problem. Simpy get out of (or let it stay) application your using, and launch a game on your PC. It's simple. No getting up, walking 3 steps, and sitting on the hard ground anymore. Ooohhh..the pain. But its solved. And most console gamers sit on the floor anyway, so stop complaining that sitting in a desk chair while playing Splinter Cell is not comfortable. It is..
4) Customizations. Paint your PC, get the latest and greatest parts, install cool glowing neon lights. Whatever you want. Wanna paint your console? Well, go ahead. But the material contained in a console is unsuitable for painting, just so you know. The paint will chip off, even if it is glossy car paint.
5) Controls. The PC is by far, the best way to play first person shooters. While you can still play games like Halo on your Xbox and such, aiming and moving at the same time with just your thumbs is actually kind of hard. You'll never score a head shot, unless you take 2 minutes to do it. A joystick is just like a lap-tops sensor pad..you can control, but you dont have much control. And plus, you can buy a simple joystick, or steering wheel for $25 bucks, and feel like your really flying an air-plane, not just moving a stick around with your thumb.

Indeed. We all know the pc is more advanced, of course it is. Look when the xbox was made, and look at the price comparison. It's sad the way a Xbox with three to four games and two controllers is cheaper than a single video card. Oh well.
Anyway, I like consoles the best. That is simply because I love having friends over and I really don't want to spend thousands of dollars buying computers and hooking them all up (not to mention having to build extra rooms in my house to put them in). So the consoles are the best way to go for in house multiplayer gaming. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Exzctly that is what Consoles or for Of course the PC is better graphics but Its just a lot simpler to have the console plus the way the Xbox is the graphics or just as good as some PCs. Give or take what type of TV progressive scan and all that stuff it can all add up
