WIndows Installer Problem

I cant install Far Cry off of my cd's so I just copied and pasted them onto my Hard drive. When I try to run install:
"The installer package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify this is a valid windows installer package"
Any thoughts?

I had a similar problem [ but not exact ]when my copied disk 4 copy could not load a file it said verify it exists etc. Before giving up my 5 copied disks I put them in the cd writer drive the were created from, and it installed perfectly. Your copied all to hd was tried also but that seemed impossible with all the put in next disk routines. Maybe that sheds some light. Try a different drive.
