Okay, so now I have tried Settlers IV. It's a good game but it seems to have one major flow that somehow ruins a lot of the game play for me.
Why is not possible to retreat soldiers if they get attacked?
An example:
I have a little group of bowmen near the border. My opponent has a group of swordsmen on the other side so my bowmen starts shooting at them. That's really good because they can't hurt me from a distance.
Slowly the swordsmen get closer and now it's time to make a retreat before my bowmen get slaughtered. But I can't......
Seems like when they begin shooting at a target I loose control with them. It's the same with my swordsmen. Some of them just when berserk and attacked the enemy though they were outnumbered, and I had no chance at all of calling them back.
This is riddicolous IMO and one of the only negative changes since III.
