A wise old man(/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif ) once said SAVE SAVE SAVE..

If you don't wanna save then try to find a spot where they can only approach from 1 direction, go prone and try and take them all out(a fairly good spot is at the end of the street infront of you when you start, laying down where the street is blocked means that 3 sides are buildings/rubble and you only have to concentrate on 1 direction!). You will have to get their attention first though so that they home in on your position and sometimes you'll be left with some in the building corridors, but take them out with nades if you can.

your right though I found it hard as nails and regularly ran out of ammo!!

hope this helps, I'm sure someone will be able to give a walthrough or a better plan but this worked for me...... eventually!

I used Scott Ibrahm with a 50-cal
and the same plan as SHAOLIN SPIDER.
50-cal is great for picking off a lot of enemys.

Ohh that task.. #25, I was getting confused with #49 where its on Recon and you have to use the M24 & frags .../i/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif.. I hate that rifle. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif.. that was my bad, but the theory applies okay to both missions.

As Shaolin said.....Keep saving. You may wanna save everytime you kill a few baddies.

What got me over the hump on this one was to run like hell and get to the corridors linked by alcoves. When I tried to shoot it out prior to that they just cooked me everytime, so I beat feet.

Once in the corridor, just hung tight for the shots, and use the frags judiciously. They will double back on you so you have to watch your six. Did I mention I used Scott Ibrahim with an M98 and frags? He gets an SR-25 in GRIT.

One trip is to go far left down the first street and hug the aspahlt in that back corner (at the end of the street) and wait for them to come around the corner, then cook them until this batch is well done. Then hoof it tight to the left side of this little square and straight ahead through a small corridor that empties you into the mall this side of the main square (where it all ends).

There are two alcoves between the long corridors. To the right the corridor goes uphill before it empties out into the square. There are always guys on this ramp, and when you toss a grenade, they head your way, so switch to gun right away. Once you fight your way uphill and through the boxes, be careful, there is one guy who stays put behind that last box, that is until you get there. So pan and scan around every box. Make sure you have a couple grenades before you empty into the square, because a bunch of 'em will hang in the last alcove before you empty into the square.

Once in the square, it's just shoot and draw them in for a shot. This was tough, but not as tough as guarding those tanks in elite (vilnius?). Happy hunting.
