Patching

I cant patch at all, bought my raven shield today and everytime Im trying to patch it comes to 63% in the installationprocess then it stops at "UnrealEd.exe" and it tells me - that the old file was not found, but a file with the same name was found. Then the process is cancelled and raven shield dosent work anymore!!!! Im starting to get pissed off!!

The two most common reasons for this error message are : (and this is just from my understanding of other threads so I could be way off the mark http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

1. Trying to patch with an incorrect version (eg trying to use a US patch for a UK game version)

2. A corrupted patch - try downloading again.

My advice would be to re-download the patch making sure that you select the correct version...and all should be well.

No I have downloaded 6 diffrent patches and its the same error everytime and my version is UK and thats all the patches to!

Could a Administrator tell me whats wrong, I cant play online if i cant patch and that is the whole resson i bought the game for!

yeah theres like 8 different patches.
Almost no one comes here to help so try the general section. gl

I would try to reinstall the game and single patch 1.0 to (whatever). I've heard 1.51 has a ton of issues so you may consider 1.41...there are a ton of servers out there using this version still and will remain on 1.41 until 1.52 surfaces. Good Luck!
