Take this with a grain of salt, but possibly within a year ... its only speculation, but I have heard they are working on the next one already. First news of confirmation I'm sure will be all over these forums, so stay in touch http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

PS congratulations on completing it!

Is that why they are neglecting the SC:PT players? Cause they are working on the next one already? Will Ubi PLEASE just fix PT before moving onto the next project! PLEASE!?

No, UBI Montreal made SC, UBI Shanghi made PT. I also heard that one, buck.50.

If it's true that they are allready making a next SC, then PT must have been just a sort of an add on to SC1, to make us hungry for the next big Game in the SC series.
right???

well i hope so,the game dissapointed me. it was really fun to play but way to short and to lineair. there should be more ways to solve a mission!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with black lotus, they should give you like 3 choices to go through a mission. like for example:

Lambert: you can go through the vents, it can be risky but its the fastest way out. If you don't want to be risky, take the slow way and go down the sewers, there are less gaurds down there.

Since Ubisoft is getting used to making the SC series the 3rd one will be a big improvement http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/93.gif

I agree there were several different ways into some of the areas but they werent necessarily the best ways.. Just different.. I found the direct approach was the fastest and easiest to accomplish a level.. Like the film studio for instance.. Going through the vent instead just made that level alot harder..

please remember that although this was a sequel of sorts, it was still just a basic add-on with a new set of missions and a few new skills put into the mix. the graphics were pretty much the same (but they still looked awesome)

there has been rumours flying about that a "proper" sequel (aka Splinter Cell 2) is in the works from the guys at Montreal (responsible for the first SC game)

these rumours come from the lead character artist of Sam Fisher, Martin Caya who used to frequent these boards alot, but hasnt been around since Xmas as he has been working on "a secret project" as he put it, and hinted at it being SC2

It's not what you do with it, it's how big it is...
