GAME CRASH??.... WHY????

i can't play the game no more because it says... it's saved as a 383 and the recent version is a 323... i don't know why its messed up.. i think its because i just installed a new patch.. but then i went back to the 1.41 patch. and it still doesnt work. anybody got any ideas???

system spec:
2.56ghz
9600 radeon pro
sound blaster audigy 2 ZS
win xp home..

looks like ya got 2 diff versions
you sure ya got whatever country version your in?
on one of hte setup pages after you launch the game itll tell ya down in corner what version you have, then start patchin from there gl
