slow frame rate on last part of regutator level

I get reallt slow frame rate on the regulator level just after u blow it up.

the frames about 16/20 when your around the part with the fire and also just as u go out the door,if u look back the frame slowes to.


Is that just how it runs? apart from that its fine on 1280/1024 res everything on max

Hey JasonC17,

I have the exact same problem. Whenever I face towards the room on fire, my framerates drop to ~20. This is pretty much the only part that has given my troubles so far. My computer is pretty similar to yours except I have an Athlon64 3000. I tried searching for anyone with a similar problem but wasn't able to come up with anything. Maybe this is just a problem with the programming.

This is probably due to the very large use of particles on this particular fire .
Particles are very very system intensive ,try turning this option down a notch and see whether it still happens .
If this is the only problem you are having then well done .Enjoy the rest of the game .
