I've been debating on wether to use sound in my upcoming movie. Sure it may add to the realism and overall feel of the movie, but if i don't, it will cut down on the size, and the people who watch it won't be flooded with loud jet noises.

What's your opinions on this?

Um... if you have the choice, add sound.
Loud jet sounds is an awesome thing, you know, i don't think people hate those sounds http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

If movie doesnt have sound or atleast music. I wont watch it.

If I was deaf, it would be a different story however.

Another thing. while you are in the cockpit and you are being spammed with messages like " OVER G " and " MAXIMUM ANGLE OF ATTACK" over and over. that doesn't bother you?

First of all i use fraps...so i have to slow down game which messes up sound anyway...so i never use sound directly from game...i either take it from a sound pack or i use real jet sounds.

Use your real world experience. Think about real movies that inspire you, about the way good directors use effects (both visual and audio) to spice up their work, but not dominate.

Too much of a good thing is a recipe for indigestion. Too little of a good thing is a recipe for boredom.
