You guys have helped me ensure I have a bug in my game. I can't get the stone mask because I can't fall in the hole it's found in. The old posts are gone and I have no idea how to get an item editor... or what one even is. The other option you gave me is to save the game on disk and reinstall the game... but I don't see an option for a hard save option (I know, I'm computer illiterate). Anyone able to help out on either question?

Not having the stone mouth is not a game breaker. It prevents you from finishing one quest and makes one part of the game slightly less convenient. If you wish to peruse the old posts, go to http://forums.ubi.com and scroll down to reach the old POR2 forum. Item editing is not recommended and rather risky.

I tryed to remove the game and reinstal it you dont have to save
the game on a disk when you uninstal the game the saved game files will still be on your computer.

If you want to use an old savegame, simply use Windows Explorer to open the POR2 folder and copy your savegames manually as you would any other file. They are not removed when you uninstall the game.

Well it is always a good idea to copy everything left after an uninstall to another folder and then delete the remainder. Then once you uninstall and patch then you drag and copy everything into the proper place. Some games will rewrite a blank save folder for instance and may overwrite everything.
