STILL WAITING

About a month ago I ordered Far Cry from Amazon and I haven't seen it yet. I checked with Amazon and was told it hasn't shipped yet. I also ordered Splinter Cell Pandora at the same time from Ubi Soft and it shipped 2 days ago. I will have it tomorrow. I called EB today and they have Far Cry on the shelf already. This is total B___S__t!! This will not happen again. This is my first experience with pre-ordering anything & I'm not a happy camper.

I'm not trying to pour salt in your wounds or anything, but I can't understand why people who "pre-order" expect to get the game the day it comes out. You're simply not as high of a priority to the publisher as, say, EB Games (and people like you and I never will be). Not to mention the fact that Ubi has to get the game to Amazon, then amazon has to inventory it, issue it back out, package it, and then ship it.

Anyway, I'm not picking on you, but I see dozens of people on every new game that comes out complaining that their "pre-order" hasn't shipped yet when everyone else is playing. That's why I never pre-order on the internet. The local EB Games or Gamespot, yes, but online? Never.

If it don't show up in a few days, I'd call them on the phone and ask them to make sure it get's sent out asap.
