To the developers at UBI,
Once again, great development work. The game looks great, and is a leader in the FPS/Tactical game space. But....
1. Why would a 'Tom Clancy' game in the Rainbow series, be a dumbed down FPS?
Games are about immersion. This game immerses me in the Quake/Unreal world. I don't get the sense that I am the leader of the 'Six' team. As a big fan of the books, I am dissapointed that I don't have the ability to strategically evaluate my entrance routes, plan of attack etc...and then execute in a dynamic fashion. The lack of heart beat sensors, and multi team tactics is a big dissapointment. The map command system, in Ghost Recon rules over this. I mean, in the real world - you wouldn't go into a building not knowing what was waiting for you.
2. Why would the AI be so scripted?
The game as no replayability if it is like this. I hope the AI in the final version has patrol paths etc. The all knowing triggers aren't very much fun. I mean, what is the point of being an elite force, if the enemy has an all seeing eye? This could be something that is just in the demo - I hope it is not like this in the real game.
Cheers,
Mike
