I don't think we got a darn thing in the patch.
Many users are happy they got improvements in the "lead you by the nose" Computer Campaign Generator. LOL
The Online players got improvements they should be happy.
The life of the IL2-FB sim like all it's predecessor combat flight simulators will depend upon the individual offline users in the future. A good mission builder will be a requirement for continued interesting use of the sim.

Yes... I got broken missions /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
A simple flight of IL2's that go from A to B and then attack planes on an airfield. Used to work ok, but now the IL2s invent points C, D, E as they do a lap of the airfield before they decide to attack!
I dunno... I need to go back and investigate. Maybe need to rework the waypoint ranges or something....
But yeah, I'd like to see some work going into the mission builder too.

well, my recent mini campaign 'scramble' will probably have to be reworked
all the AI planes either dissappear or blow-up after landing now.
probably to appease the on-liners (as usual) who are only interested in FPS

well I suppose for those mainly interested in on-line dogfighting, any thing which is only eye-candy but affects FPS is seen as useless
There are however a majority of players who only fly off-line..........do alot of ground attack......or also like to use the ground/tank battle aspect of the sim, who enjoy as realistic a landscape as they can get
the new FM off of the main airstrip makes it very difficult to get moving and start to take-off from the grass, so previous ones that worked OK now need a much longer take-off run to clear the buildings (as all take-offs from other than the main strip, cause the planes to head due East as soon as they get moving)

Planes according to Ian (Boys) were taken off after landing as other AI aircraft would crash into them on occasion so buggering up stats for the Dynamic campaign & Online play.
I do hope they will look into this more as it was great to have friendly aircraft on the aprons after landing. You could see just how many of your chaps got through!

All AI pilots now have cloaking device, activated shortly after landing to protect them from being bounced.
TRK playback now shows what would have happened in a parallel universe!
