Cool glitch on the PS2 version of Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow

How to keep pistol in hand while normally doin all actions in 3rd person view:
-choose gernades from the menu but dont take'em out.
-go to a person and grab him.
-while holdin him hostage, take out your pistol.
-turn on the laser light and shoot.
-put the pistol back in and knock out the guy.
NOW THE PISTOL WILL BE IN YOUR HAND CONSTANTLY.
In order to put it back in, choose pistol from the menu, take it out and then put it back in (it will no loger be in your hand).

lol yeah on xbox i did this but differently i opened the dorr with pistol out it stayed out and i could shoot in 3rd person but i coudnt grab or knock out it was cool i shot myself in foot
