I installed service pack 2 for xp, and ever since my download speed has been cut in half. I recieved tech support from comcast, and they said my modem was showing 3.0, so, it must be service pack 2, that is the only thing changed on my computer. I desperately want to uninstall sp2. Can you help?

It's in beta right now.
You should be able to go Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and find an entry for SP2. You should also be able to uninstall it from there providing you opted to back up your files when you installed it.
Hope this helps.

Geez...why would anyone install a BETA Servicepack. That's like playing russian roulette with 5 rounds in the cylinder.
